Alice Rich Northrop Memorial, Inc.
About Us
The Alice Rich Northrop Memorial, Inc. is a New York State non profit organization.
It's mission (since 1923) is to provide an opportunity for kids from New York City,
whose families could not otherwise afford camp,
to experience the wonders of nature at a summer camp in the Berkshires.
We are currently an all-volunteer organization!

Eric was a camper in 1954 and an aide in 1955 and 1956. He wrote down the names of many of the campers from those years and saved the list for 45 years! Because the camp records are very incomplete for the years 1934-1960, Eric is now a professor of zoology at Penn, where he studies vertebrate embryology, especially the embryology of zebrafish
